AMA Session Recap: DoragonLand x DuckDAO

Can you please give us a brief background of yourself both in the crypto space as well as traditional?

Also, anything that you can tell us about your team?

Kent Nguyen

I have been working in the IT field for almost 10 years in which I have 7 years of experience as a game designer, specializing in conceptualizing creative aspects.

Blockchain, a relatively new technology, is already revolutionising many aspects of our lives such as healthcare and the economy. I have been involved in blockchain technology for the last 2 years.

As a game lover, I see many potentials of integrating blockchain into a game project which empowers a fully decentralized gaming.We aims to create an economy in the game which helps players not only enjoy playing but also earn profit, and can earn and invest to create more income.

First and foremost, thank you for the heartwarming welcome. Let me introduce myself. I’m Ashley Dang, CMO of DoragonLand. I’ve been taking the role of Marketing Leader and involved in many cutting-edge technology projects for 5 years now, mostly in the Asian market and also the domestic market. I started involved in blockchain technology 2 years ago, and I am really into this dynamic and promising field.

Great getting to know a little bit about your background guys. Looks like there’s plenty of experience on the team from a gaming perspective.

Can you briefly at a high level explain what Doragon Land is about before we dive into some in-depth questions?

DoragonLand is a 3D tower rush game that integrates battle card gameplay and blockchain technology to create fast-paced brawls among dragon warriors where players can duel with others to collect rewards of NFT items and DOR tokens in real-time.

DoragonLand is Inspired by the world-renowned Clash Royale, which is an insanely simple yet hard to master online battle brawler video game. The game integrates elements including action, collectible card games, tower defense, and Real-time strategy.

DoragonLand offers players a diverse system of activities including Cards, Quests (Daily, Weekly and Progress Quests), Clan, Clan Wars, P2E, Esport & Tournament. The characters are in strong and bold shape, cute style with energetic and playful tone, which allows players to truly enjoy the exotic experience

Nice. Sounds like a player could play for countless hours with all the elements you’ve explained.

Before we get further into the game, Let’s first talk about your token, what is the use case and why is it needed?

Ashley Dang

First thing, DOR tokens can be used to participate in the game features like clan and tournament.

At the same time, By owning tokens, DOR token holders participate in the decentralized financial market to earn more profit.

Also, players can buy their NFTs on the market to upgrade their dragon warriors. Vice versa, players can sell these NFT items to get DOR back.

$DOR holders can use $DORto settle payments and participate in gamefi activities like staking, farming, minting, betting, which allow players to gain passive income

Great. Passive income is always a great incentive on top of all the fun a player gets to have.

Ok now lets address some of the questions that were submitted by our community members

Each card is divided into 3 categories: dragon, building, and spell. What are the stats and abilities that each card item provides?

Kent Nguyen

DoragonLand NFTs are cards that are divided into 3 categories: dragon, building, and spell. The rarity levels are ranging from Common, Rare, Epic, to Legendary.

Each has different abilities and characteristics. For example, the Baby Dragon: A 4 Mana dragon with moderately high hitpoints and fast movement speed that deals low splash damage making it effective as a support dragon, killing swarms while chipping at ground dragons and towers. It’s also a decent mini-tank, but weak against high damage units and is easily distracted.

How do users obtain the cards? Gatcha or Trade?

Kent Nguyen

Users could obtain cards by opening the chest boxes. Our exclusive chest boxes sale was over.. However, now you can buy your cards on https://doragonland.mirana.market/

Is there a limit to the number of Dragon characters a single user can summon?

Ashley Dang

No, a user can summon as many cards as they can. There will be no limit on the number of dragon characters one can obtain

Pep.

Can you in general explain what the Clan invasion mode is? How will the participants get rewarded individually if this game mode consists of many players?

Will the reward be distributed equally to all clan members, regardless of the player’s participation, skill and damage dealt or their position in the clan?

Kent Nguyen

A few things about Clan: from level 10, players can join or form clans. Joining or establishing a clan enables players to engage in competitive battles and clan wars, for strengthening themselves and the clan as a whole. It also unlocks the feature of trading and requesting cards from clanmates after reaching a certain level. Clan members can also chat and share emotes with their clanmates. A clan has a maximum of 50 players.

As for the rewards, there will be both equal distribution (for example on Clan wars) and distribution based on player’s position on the clan ( for example: raid boss) their participation, skill and damage dealt

This sounds like fun where friends would be able to together

DoragonLand is an NFT gaming, but really users shouldn’t matter quantity but quality, how valuable NFT is that we can get in your game, what factors give them real value that allows them to easily market in the NFT market?

Ashley Dang

Every NFTs in DoragonLand is valuable assets. They are meticulously designed and crafted by our artists from ThunderCloud. However, there may be some NFTs that have more special features that every collector desires to obtain. This will be discovered in our game.

NFT items will still last forever even when the game closes as investors can trade these NFT items to other common tokens. Also, our development team has plans to develop an ecosystem with an aim to leverage this game content that can be used in other games to diversify token utilities and increase the flexibility of token as well as its value.

Oh that’s good to know. So the value of the NFT can retain beyond the game

Can you please tell us some of your high level accomplishments thus far and what you have planned for the upcoming year?

Ashley Dang

Well, We are so happy about what we have accomplished so far. In Nov 2021, DoragonLand has published its official video trailer, which has drawn so much attention from game enthusiasts and crypto lovers.

Also, on 18th Nov, DoragonLand opened an exclusive chest boxes sale event on Mirana Marketplace. All 4,000 boxes were sold out within a few hours. This is such good news to us! This means we got a lot of support from the Doragonland community and everybody is getting more and more enthusiastic about the game. The trading volume has been over 2 Million USD with the total transaction of nearly 17k.

Another big milestone is our IDO on 30th Nov. DoragonLand was launched on Koistarter and Oxbull with the total token for sale is 15,000,000 DOR and the Token public price: 1 DOR = 0.02 BUSD

Now DOR has been listed on PancakeSwap, Coingecko, and it will be soon listed on on MEXC and other exchanges

Very impressive. Demand seems to be high if it sold out in just hours.

In Dec 2021, there will be aslo many other amazing events that we look forward to.

Staking DOR will be available soon in Dec so that DOR holders will be able to stake their DOR in different pools and gain decent passive income.

In this month, MVP version will be released and NFT holders can be able to test the game and start earning.

What phase is the project currently in?

Have there been any issues that the team has endured that they have grown stronger from learning now especially in product development?

Kent Nguyen

As we mentioned earlier, we are in the process of producing an mvp version.

The biggest challenge I would say is the strict time schedule. Our team has worked very hard to ensure the feature release as planned and ensure the highest quality of our product. I believe that strictly following a schedule to meet deadlines is one important goal of any project as that will benefit both the team and community

That’s very respectable of you. Sticking to dates that are communicated is very much appreciated by the community and reinforces faith in the ability of delivering a solid product.

Is Doragon Land doing any kind of strategic planning to target non-crypto users to help encourage mainstream adoption?

Kent Nguyen

Of course we do have. As DoragonLand is a game for everyone, we do not limit it for crypto investors only. Up to present, DoragonLand is backed by many big names, from both crypto and non-crypto areas which will help DoragonLand to reach a wider range of audience.

We are also building game guide communitiesso that anyone can start playing and enter the crypto world

What kind of partnerships has Doragon Land secured?

Ashley Dang

DoragonLand is pleased to establish solid partnerships with many notable partners. One of our strategic partners that I would like to mention is Creator — Creator Chain Network — Top 50 Blockchain-as-a-Service and also a rising star in the Blockchain Industry now.

Actually, our project is incubated by Creator and With Creator’s BaaS, DoragonLand’s blockchain aspect will be ensured with the smoothest performance.

Also as I mentioned before, We are so proud to have Thunder Cloud — a 3D design and production studio in Asia as our strategic partner for the art development of our project.

The team is known for providing high-quality 3D Game trailers and game art for hundreds of game projects

Doragon Land is a 3D game, but can you inform us if we need a computer with minimal requirements to be able to enjoy the 3D game experience?

Kent Nguyen

DoragonLand will be first available on Web GL. So yeah, it is one of the requirements to have the best experience on DoragonLand. It will also be available on mobile and PC later in our development process

We would like to recap our IDO last week, it was such a successful milestone for DoragonLand.

We have hit remarkable and optimistic numbers on both launch pads:On KoiStarter, all 9,000,000 DOR tokens were sold out of which more than 90% was sold after the Guaranteed round, and by FCFS round the remaining amount of DOR were gone in a flash
