AMA Session Recap: DoragonLand x PolkaWar

On Saturday, 20th November, 2021, 2PM UTC, Ashley Dang and Kent Nguyen — CMO and CPO of DoragonLand — participated in an intriguing AMA session with the PolkaWar Community. The guest speakers answered burning questions ranging from game mechanisms and features, exciting events, to tokenomics, and so forth. Can you introduce about yourself ?

To start off, Let’s me introduce myself a bit. I’m Kent- the CPO and co-founder of DoragonLand.

I have been working in the IT field for almost 10 years in which I have 7 years of experience as a game designer, specializing in conceptualizing creative aspects.

Blockchain, a relatively new technology, is already revolutionising many aspects of our lives such as healthcare and the economy. I have been involved in blockchain technology for the last 2 years.

As a game lover, I see many potentials of integrating blockchain into a game project which empowers a fully decentralized gaming. We aim to create an economy in the game which helps players not only enjoy playing but also earn profit, and completely can earn and invest to create more income.

I’ve been taking the role of Marketing Leader and involved in many cutting-edge technology projects for 5 years now, mostly in the Asian market and also the domestic market.

I started involved in blockchain technology 2 years ago, and I am really into this dynamic and promising field.

Could you tell us about your project and some outstanding features?

DoragonLand is a 3D tower rush game that integrates battle card gameplay and blockchain technology to create fast-paced brawls among dragon warriors where players can duel with others to collect rewards of NFT items and DOR tokens in real-time.

DoragonLand is Inspired by the world-renowned Clash Royale, which is an insanely simple yet hard to master online battle brawler video game. The game integrates elements including action, collectible card games, tower defense, and real-time strategy.

Doragon Land offers players a diverse system of activities including Cards, Quests (Daily, Weekly and Progress Quests), Clan, Clan Wars, P2E, Esport & Tournament. The characters are in strong and bold shape, cute style with energetic and playful tone, which allows players to truly enjoy the exotic experience.

I would like to say that DoragonLand has so many outstanding features.

• NFT collectibles :
  DoragonLand is the paradise for dire collectors to possess collectibles and players can receive NFTs while mining, farming, staking and lending them on the DoragonLand. There are dragons and in-game items with different characteristics with high-end artworks that truly have value both in game and in the real world.
• Marketplace:
  DoragonLand marketplace provides an efficient place for players to trade NFT items and earn massive financial benefits. A business owner, a collector, or a game fan — here, you can always strike the best deal!
• Ownership:
  The game mechanism ensures true in-game asset ownership for players. DoragonLand is run on Binance Smart Chain that includes a completely distributed ledger architecture, providing players verifiable ownership over the virtual dragons and items contained in the games.
• Staking
  Players and investors can start staking their $DOR. $DOR will be staked in different staking pools for a certain period of time. After the lock-up period, players will receive a certain amount of $DOR as rewards.

What are the major utilities of holding the#DOR? How does the team plan to enhance its further value so as to attract users onboard?

$DOR is the utility token in the game which can be used in various cases:
First thing, DOR tokens can be used to participate in the game features like clan and tournament.

At the same time, By owning tokens, DOR token holders participate in the decentralized financial market to earn more profit.

Also, players can buy their NFTs on the market to upgrade their dragon warriors. Vice versa, players can sell these NFT items to get DOR back.
$DOR holders can use $DORto settle payments and participate in gamefi activities like staking, farming, minting, betting, which allow players to gain passive income.

Our token is designed to guarantee the stable development of the DoragonLand project and also raise the benefit of buyers/investors.

Can you share something about your characters in games? How can we start playing?

Kent Nguyen

In DoragonLand, there are different Dragon breeds: human, orc, elf, undead,… which are inspired by 7 common races in fantasy games. Each of them has different characteristics and strengths and they play a specific role in the gameplay. For example Dragon tanker, Dragon Damage dealer, Dragon Support, Dragon Pusher.

They are fascinating creatures that are naughty, strong and very brave. They protect their own land from invaders and fiercely compete for the leaderboard position. Continue following our channels to get more reveals of DoragonLand characters, we will update our community along with the game development.

Let me go into greater detail about how players can begin to play.

To start playing the game, Players need to have at least 8 cards . Inspired by Clash Royale, the playing mode in DoragonLand is semi-automation in which players will have to select cards and place them in order (4-card pool) then cards are released automatically for the battle.

What are the major partnerships done so far? How have these played a major role in DoragonLand project development?

Ashley Dang

DoragonLand is pleased to establish solid partnerships with many notable partners. One of our strategic partners that I would like to mention is Creator — Creator Chain Network — Top 50 Blockchain-as-a-Service and also a rising star in the Blockchain Industry now.

Actually, our project is incubated by Creator and With Creator’s BaaS, DoragonLand’s blockchain aspect will be ensured with the smoothest performance.

Also as I mentioned before, We are so proud to have Thunder Cloud — a 3D design and production studio in Asia as our strategic partner for the art development of our project.
The team is known for providing high-quality 3D Game trailers and game art for hundreds of game projects

How do you plan to spread awareness about your project in different countries where English is not good? Do you have local communities like Vietnam, Indonesia, Thailand, Korea,.. so they can better understand your project?

We already built up the Vietnam, Indonesia, Philippines, Chinese speaking, Japan communities with local CM to approach and support them. Planning to build Thailand, Russia, Brazil communities as well

Token Burn or BuyBack program play an important role in increasing Token value Do you have a token burn or buyback program plan to attract investors?

We have plan for buying back, the game comes with a self-burning NFT token: upgrading a card by merging 2, 3 the same one, we believe this system works well to keep the value of token/NFTs

Why you choose Binance Smart chain? we see some chain pop up with good scalability too, then why you choose BSC?

The reason we choose BSC is that it is emerging as a leading blockchain network. BSC is fully EVM compatible as it is built with a dual chain architecture, which makes it possible for users to enjoy the flexibility of transferring assets from one blockchain to another. It supports one of the most popular DeFi wallets — Metamask. Also, BSC has one of the fastest blockchain transaction times and lowest fee structures, so players dơn’t need to worry much about it.

DoragonLand Token symbol is $DOR which is issued on Binance Smart Chain.

• The total supply of $DOR is 1,000,000,000 tokens
• Initial market cap is $275,500
• Total token for sale is 165,000,000 DOR

With use cases, including:

• Participate in battles and events
• Play to Earn
• GameFi

Players can earn $DOR tokens by playing games, participating in events, and speculating on dragons and in-game items.
DoragonLand will soon release GameFi functions such as staking, and betting so players can have more opportunities to earn $DOR tokens.

You can buy DOR token on our upcoming IDO. DoragonLand will be launched on KoiStarter & Oxbull on 30th Nov 2021.

Is your platform suitable for crypto beginners? Or does it only limited for professional users ?

Everyone can participate in the game by buying a starter pack to possess several dragon warriors, buildings and spells to start.
The price of Starterpack of DoragonLand will be stable at 200 USD regardless of token price so that players can join the game easily.
We also have plans for non-crypto gamers. There will be a free-to-play version that allows non-crypto gamers to join in the game. They still have opportunities to gain rewards of $DOR and NFTs items so that they can convert into crypto users. In this way, they would become project investors by holding $DOR or NFTs items

Many projects have problems with UI / UX and this one turns off new users. How do you plan to improve the interaction with new users and with users outside the crypto space?

We are very confident with our UI/UX with the partnership between DoragonLand and ThunderCloud, one of the world-class art work studio. The Founder of ThunderCloud onboarded with us as Co-founder of the project, we have fully dedicated team take care of UI/UX and all art work so no worries about this

What do you think the NFT + DeFi association’s boom is causing worldwide attention? How does your Project take advantage of and exploit this reality?

To my opinions, NFT +Defi booming is only in the very early stage, Doragonland joining this field at this time is just a perfect timing. We have long term vision, outstanding features to set us to go along run with all users

Can you tell us about your plans for long-term? what you are currently working on?and what strategy will be used to expand globally?

We’re trying to adapt “Metaverse” into our project. More social features, more gameplay genre will land on Doragon Land universe (a 4x gameplay and a FPS game is in prototype phase)
“Awaken DoragonLand by Defi Touch” is our slogan and we will use Defi gaming to expand globally
